Airport shuttle reservations to/from Norfolk International Airport ($12.00 each way) can be made at the time of reservation or by calling (800) 926-4466 and ask for guest services. Shuttles are pet friendly

Please note that all attendees have until 3/29/2022 to make their reservations at the group rate or until all rooms are gone. Once this date has passed, the discounted rate will not be available and attendees will receive the best available rate at that time.
GUEST ROOM RATES:
- Check in is after 4:00 pm; check out by 11:00 am
- 2 Queen beds: $129 plus taxes and incidentals
- Queen bed or a King Bed $124 plus taxes and incidentals
- 10% discount on Spa services
- Taxes as of August 2022 are 14.00% plus a $2.00 occupancy tax.
- $50 One-time Non-Refundable Pet Fee.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of the arrival date.
DESIGNATED WALKING AREA/WASTE COLLECTION: The Dalmatian Club of America and its attendees agree to use designated walk areas for all dogs. Pick-up and removal of waste will be the responsibility of the owner.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DOGS PER GUESTROOM: A maximum number of four dogs is permitted in each guestroom. Under no circumstances will puppies under the age of four months be permitted in hotel rooms.
PET POLICY:
- All dogs left unattended in guest rooms must be secured in crates. Housekeepers will not service rooms in which dogs are loose and unattended.
- No dog bathing is permitted in any guestrooms under any circumstances.
- Dogs must be on leash when outside the guest rooms.
- Dogs are not permitted in any eating establishments.
- Complaints will be handled by the show committee.
As per “AKC Discipline Guidelines, Section VIII, d. DISREGARD OF PUBLISHED CLUB REGULATIONS”
The AKC considers the Host Hotel and motor homes to be part of the show site. And, therefore, any violations of good and responsible dog show conduct can be brought before an Event Show Committee. The guidelines shown above will be considered “published show rules”. Transgressions will not be tolerated.
Dalmatian Club of America Standing Rule Policy: Any exhibitor who allows his/her dogs to be loose and unattended in the room or to damage hotel property, and who then does not immediately contact the hotel management to make proper restitution will be subject to Show Event Committee action which could result in the loss of AKC (DCA) privileges.
RV Parking
- RV parking is a privilege extended by the Founders Inn and Spa for the convenience of our exhibitors. All RVs are required to register with the Inn and the DCA RV coordinator. The Founders Inn and Spa reserves the right to withdraw this privilege from anyone who does not abide by the rules and regulations. Anyone unable to abide by the rules and regulations will be removed from the premises without recourse or refund of fees.
- Parking is at your own risk. Neither the hotel, nor DCA, nor the city of Virginia Beach, VA assumes any responsibility or liability for damages or loss to any vehicle, contents or dogs. RV parking will be in the two lots adjacent to the tennis courts and to the right of the grass and dog exercise area.
- No hookups are available. The rate for RV parking is $30 per night for those who are NOT reserving a room at the hotel. This rate includes a pass key for use of the hotel facilities: indoor swimming pool, fitness room, and locker rooms with shower. Hotel will provide trash pick-ups for RVs. Place your reservation here. If you are renting a room at the hotel you may park your unoccupied RV onsite for no extra charge. You MUST register your unoccupied RV. - Water is available by the community joining of hoses.
- Outside grilling is not permitted as per city code. No consumption of exposed alcoholic beverages outside of the RV units.
- Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM local time. No dogs may be left outside after 10 PM.
- Everyone using the facility is expected to keep and leave the area clean. Exhibitors are responsible for damage and cleanup of their assigned area.
- ABSOLUTELY NO STAKES OF ANY KIND MAY BE PLACED IN THE GROUND. Failure to comply will result in removal from the premises.
- The honey wagon will be scheduled during the week at the RV owner’s expense. You may pay in the DCA store or by cash. ($25 per rig for two tanks)
