Regional Club Liaison Committee
Chair
Prue Stuhr
Mission Statement
July 17, 2019
The Regional Club Liaison Committee (RCLC) was set up by the DCA Board to help open lines of communication with regional clubs. It is the committee’s mission to obtain and update all regional clubs’ status including current contact information, and website/social media addresses. This will offer better access for the general public through the DCA website.
The committee’s mission is to interact with regional clubs to help them with ways to gain membership, participate in educational events, and provide ideas for programs at their meetings. We want to work with regional clubs to make sure ethical guidelines have been adopted and are being used to educate their members and the general public.
The RCLC was appointed by the DCA Board in the spring of 2019.
DCA RCF on fb
The Regional Clubs Liaison Committee (RCLC), with the blessing of the DCA Board, created a private Facebook group named the DCA Regional Clubs Forum (RCF). Each regional club selected two or three members as representatives. The RCF is meant to foster open communication between regional clubs to discuss successes and challenges and offer ideas and advice. The representatives are then encouraged to report back to their respective clubs so that the general membership can be aware of what is being discussed. The RCLC encourages all clubs to add RCF discussion to their meeting agendas.
